How to Play
- Use the left stick to aim and steer your fighter.
- Hold the fire button to unleash your beam weapon at the enemy aces.
- Tap the boost button for a burst of speed — useful to break a pursuit.
- Destroy every enemy fighter in the stage to claim victory and rotate into the next arena.
- Tap the pause button any time to resume, return home, or toggle sound.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I mute the sound effects?
- Tap the sound toggle on the title screen or from the in-game pause menu. Your choice is saved on your device and remembered across launches.
- Why do I see ads?
- DEFEAT ACE is a free game and is supported by advertising. Ads are served by Google AdMob and may include app-open, interstitial, and banner formats. See our Privacy Policy for details.
- What is the "Allow Tracking" prompt on first launch?
- That is Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Choosing Ask App Not to Track means the app will not access your Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). Ads will still be shown — just non-personalized ones. You can change your choice any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Sound is not playing.
- Make sure the in-app sound toggle is on (title screen or pause menu) and that your device is not in a mode that mutes apps. The app's audio session is configured to play even when the device's silent switch is on, so you should hear sound in most cases.
- The app crashed or froze.
- Try force-quitting the app and relaunching. If the issue persists, please email us at support@kozuke.dev with your iOS version and device model.
- Which iOS versions are supported?
- DEFEAT ACE requires iOS 18 or later.
